Today Tonight Alive announced that "The Edge" will also be featured on The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro soundtrack... at which point, being the huge Marvel fan that I am, I momentarily died. lol This is GINORMOUS for them, and I'm so proud! Here's a short clip of the song and video, which will both be released in full on April 1st.

Wow, this is huge!!!
I just got home from work and the first thing I did was check instagram. I saw Jenna posted the shorter preview, and I was like omg, a music video! This means this some is coming out sooner then later and I never expected a single of a new song so close to The Other Side Coming out. Then I saw at the end that it was featured on the New Spider-Man soundtrack and I literally died as well!

I guess it's time for me to watch the first Amazing Spider-Man... that's really the only one out of all the Marvel movies that I've slacked on catching up with, haha.

It seams the world premier of the song will occur today. There are hints everyone should be near a computer between 3 and 6 pm eastern time today to hear the song. Wonder if it's going to appear on tonight alive's Facebook page, vevo or the official site?

The Edge was just played on BBC Radio 1.
According to BBC 1, this song is going to be pushed majorly world wide giving Tonight Alive a lot of exposure. That's great news for Tonight Alive.
The song was a little catchy, something you can play over and over. Can't wait till April 1 when the music video comes out and my iTunes preorder will be downloaded.

I'm stoked that this song is really going to be pushed as a single. They totally deserve it! It's a killer song for an awesome movie, and I'm really proud of them. |

I guess it's time for me to watch the first Amazing Spider-Man... that's really the only one out of all the Marvel movies that I've slacked on catching up with, haha. on the contrary it's the only marvel movie i've actually seen haha probably because i'm madly in love with emma stone but that's a different story for a different day super cool they're involved in something like this and from what i've heard i like the song |

I'm hoping the music video for The Edge Get's Posted to VEVO in the next hour and a half so I get a chance to see it before I have to go to work=)
Edit: It looks like it will be showing up soon. It's in the Top Banner on the VEVO app on my Apple TV, and there is a banner across Tonight Alive's Vevo page to watch now, but The video just loads for ever and never plays.
I have seen this with other premieres before, all have been high profile video premieres such as Katy Perry and what not. It takes a couple hours before the video is actually playable even though its listed.
This means this video is going to get a major push through VEVO, it is going to be listed on their home page, and app home pages all week as a video premiere.

Thanks for the video, can't watch it there either. At least this answers the question why. The youtube vevo video link you posted says "The uploader has not made this video available in your country."
It is showing up on VEVO, but when you click to play it it does nothing but enter a black screen for ever from my apple tv or iPad or show the loading wheel for ever on my mac. I guess it's set to appear at different times around the world. But I should be able to get it with a proxy! Going to try it now.
