What do we expect for shows / tours in the United States this year?
I'm hoping to catch Tonight Alive a couple times, and hopefully see if I can meet them.
They haven't announced Warp Tour Yet, but I imagine they will be doing it. Its just a question of whether its all shows or not. Waiting for the announcement before buying Warped Tickets.
It also seems like they will be opening for other bands this year to introduce them selves to a new audience.
I'm hoping they make it to MA this year or close by.

I'm really hoping for some kind of tour. I know they've been insanely busy the last couple of years, so it might not be anything extensive.

I know they're doing one show in Las Vegas at the end of March, so expect some Spring dates before or after that (probably after). Jenna and Whak both mentioned those to me back in October, so I know they'll be happening. I just don't know when.
I'm not sure about Warped though. I heard them say in an interview that they would do it if they were asked, but they were thinking about doing something different. I think you might be right about them opening again. The headline tour went well, but I think they want to be the main opener to see how that goes.
Kind of sucks that we haven't heard anything specific yet, but I have a feeling they'll be touring quite a bit. The album just came out, so they have to promote it.

Presale starts at 2:00 pm today for the The Used & Taking Back Sunday Tour.
Getting tickets for Boston Right at 2:00pm.
This show starts at 5, so I am wondering if Tonight Alive with Get a 45 minute set, or if it will be sorter as they are one of the special guests.

I didn't even notice that when I was buying tickets. I wonder if doors are at 5pm or if that's the actual showtime. If they get a longer set, that'd be awesome. TBS and The Used are okay, but I'm really only interested in TA. Spending $37 just for them was a little painful, but totally worth it. See you in Boston! Did you get GA Floor?

TBS and The Used are okay, but I'm really only interested in TA. Spending $37 just for them was a little painful, but totally worth it. See you in Boston! Did you get GA Floor? Yup, GA Floor! It seems like all other dates on this tour are 7, so it does seam an oddity that this show starts at 5. From what I read its actual showtime, and not doors. It could be because it's a Saturday Night, and the HOB could be having a club night later and they push us out earlier. I have had that happen with Evanescence there before. Don't know how well you know the HOB in Boston, but I have a tip for getting barricade. I did it for Paramore last spring and I didn't get EE or a M&G to my disappointment. As you probably know the HOB has cut the line passes, you pay $15 for it or spend $20 on merch. That used to work well back like 5 years ago, but everyone does that now so the whole line is pretty much all cut the line. The trick to actually getting in first is if you are 21, pay four Foundation Room VIP Access the night of the concert, its $20 and gives you access to a private lounge / bar to relax in an hour before doors open, and you are let in first to the concert, before all the cut the line people. Only people with M&G will beat you the the barricade, and if the M&G is running late you might get in first. The Foundation Room in Boston as insane, I imagine you remember the venue used to be called the Avalon, the foundation room is still the same as the Avalon, and is all like being inside a midlevel Castle or Church. TBS is okey I agree, but I really don't know too much of their stuff, the used is good, but I'm only familiar with the cds they put out in 2004 / 2005 ish. I don't know any of their newer stuff. I'm really only going to see TA as well. The $37 is totally worth it, and I actually thought that was reasonable. I was expecting it to be more. See you in Boston=) Edit: Just wanted to mention that the drinks in the Foundation Room are straight hard liquor, they ill knock you on your ass to make sure you go light on them. Marguerites hit you like Long Islands to give you an example. They also serve wine in real fancy glasses, and beer in bottles or glass mugs up there.

The HOB in Boston is my favorite venue ever, and I've seen so many shows there. I think I'm actually going to avoid the pit this time around. I've never been in a TBS or Used pit, but I feel like it might suck, haha. My friends and I stand at some pretty great spots on either side of the floor and that's an awesome view of the stage. I guess we'll see, haha. I knew about the $15 cut the line pass/ $20 on merch, but I didn't know you could actually buy your way into the Foundation Room, so that's great to hear! Thanks for the warning about the drinks there - I'm actually straight edge, so I'll be sticking to water. This is gonna be a fun weekend. I just bought a ticket for Philly the next night. See you in Boston though. We should meet up!

My plan is to get the barricade on the far right side of the stage, by the stairs. It's easy to sneak out to get to the merch tables or get something to drink, and sneak back in especially when you have friends there with you. It is indeed a pretty good view from there. Yeah, the HOB in Boston is my favorite Venue as well.
Yeah, I'm not go crazy about being in the pit center stage. I got put through tumble dry in Worcester for Paramore's Self Titled Tour. Craziest Paramore Pit I have ever been in.
You buy you way into the Foundation Room through the box office. I'm not sure if it will work for this show though, if the show actuarially starts at 5, and the foundation room opens at 5 it might not be a option, but I'm going to figure all that stuff out before the show and if the Foundation Room is a Viable Options for getting in first I'm going to try doing it. I'm heading to the show with a friend, my 2 from work. But I'll keep an eye out for you so we can meet up. I should be able to recognize you, as you were in my M&G on the HCT in New Hampshire and I have seen you at pretty much every Paramore show somewhere in line when walking around before doors.
Will Tonight Alive likely be at that merch table at all during the show or out and about talking to fans?

Yeah, that's a pretty good spot. That's where I was for Paramore last spring. I never do center stage for the pit. It's always insane there, and singers generally move all over anyway. Sounds good about meeting up. I'll be there with my friend Dan. You may recognize him from the NH m&g as well. I really can't wait. It's only been a few months since I've seen TA, but it feels like it's been forever. It depends on the venue, but TA usually doesn't come out to merch during the show out of respect to the bands on after them. They usually hang out after, either at merch or outside, so I think they'll be around to chat.

Ah, that's a bummer! Hopefully they'll be back in the summer and they'll pass through Ohio. When's the last time you saw them?

No Ohio dates. One of these days I'll be able to travel a lot more for concerts. I wish someday I will be able to travel to a lot more dates / concerts as well. I can't with my current Job in retail management as there are way to many black out dates, you can't take more then 5 days off in a row, can't take anytime if an other manager already asked for it during that week. I would love to travel the country and see different shows on a tour someday.

They added a few more dates. The Used will not be on these ones, just TBS, Tonight Alive, and Sleepwave:
3/30: Albuquerque, NM @ Sunshine Theater 4/10: Poughkeepsie, NY @ The Chance 4/17: Portland, ME @ The State Theater 4/18: Providence, RI @ Lupos 4/25: Jacksonville, FL @ Freebird Live
I'll be at the Poughkeepsie show!
